I was able to slice a couple files but halfway trough my first print it froze, do you have any experience with this? I will do a dry run of the same file to see if it has to do with a faulty file or a random hardware problem (like a loose cable/contact).
This is really counterintuitive but straightforward once you know how it works. I also noticed that I needed to save the file BEFORE slicing, if you save it after it deletes the slices.
This would be ok it is was not that it is coded by someone who has no funds/skill to sign software. One small issue is that it fights a little with my antivirus but that is because it spews out huge amounts of data in a short period. It is a lot faster compared to the original and is a little more intuitive. I downloaded CWX (creation workshop X) 1.2.4 and it worked great. Good luck and I'll try and answer any more if I can. Oh, on windows 10 you may need to download Bonjour print services from apple to see nanoDLP.local, otherwise you'll need to know the IP address. If you want to use wifi I found it's easiest to first use an ethernet cable to connect to your network, browse to nanodlp.local and and setup though it's settings page. I have a pi3B, the pi3B+ is suppose to be about 15% faster. For a 100mm print at 0.05mm layers it takes about 5 minutes to process. I open nanoDLP.local in my browser, create a new plate and upload the stl. (that matters if you export svg, not sure about stl's)Ĥth. In Slic3r PE make sure the printer Bed Shape is 圆8 y120. If I am printing multiple stl's I'll process each one then arrange them in Slic3r PE. I use the SLA/DLP preset and generate supports. Under Edit I make the mesh hollow with a 2mm shell (most of the time). (it's faster than Meshmixer) Export the mesh to a new stl if a repair is done.Ģnd. Open the stl in Slic3r PE to check and fix any errors in the mesh. I go back and forth between Slic3r PE and Meshmixer to preprocess then to nanoDLP to slice and print.ġst.
